I finally get around to doing the Bonnie Hunter Winter Mystery and I let everything get in my way.
Procrastination, of course. Since I've retired, it has really become a way of life. Don't know what's up with that. Need to work on it.
Work, but it's only 2 or 3 days a week, so I guess that falls back to procrastination.
Quilting for others, but that's not a whole lot either, so I guess that falls back to procrastination as well.
And then there's the quilt trip that comes when I work on something for myself rather than doing all of the chores I have waiting for me. Excuses. Excuses. Maybe that's procrastination as well.
Not to mention the fact that today was the first day in a week that I actually got out of my pajamas. Been sick and haven't felt like doing much of anything at all.
So.... as far as an update on the mystery:
- I did step one on that actual weekend I was supposed to.
- On the weekend of step two I was working and I didn't do anything on it at all.
- On the weekend of step three, I actually cut out step three. Haven't sewn it yet though.
- This past weekend was step four and I only just looked at the instructions today. At least that one is easy. Maybe over Christmas, I'll work on it.
I am determined to finish this quilt all the way through..... eventually!
